Back in May 2022 we proudly announced that GRM had reached the milestone of 10,000 projects (https://www.grm-uk.com/grm-reaches-10000-project-milestone/). The subsequent two years have seen a rapid increase in both the number of projects, and the virtual ‘GRM odometer’ which measures total miles travelled by our various field-based teams!
We were reminded of the scope of our client projects this week while planning travel and accommodation for our geologists, engineers, and inspectors. While it’s not quite Land’s End to John O’Groats, our teams are spread far and wide working on a diverse range of projects that include:
- Supervision of drilling in Scotland, including the acquisition of data for subsequent slope stability analysis.
- Foundation inspections and earthworks supervision in Leicestershire.
- Installation of settlement gauges on a development site near Manchester.
- Undertake soakage tests in Norfolk.
- Garden capping validations in South Derbyshire.
- Stockpile sampling in Northamptonshire.
That is another six dots we can now add to our evolving project location map!
If you have any development or construction projects, then please get in touch to find out how we can help save both time and costs. Please use your main point of contact at GRM or for new enquiries email richard.upton@grm-uk.com or call 01283 551249.
