Our workload here at GRM has continued to grow over the last few months and shows no signs of slowing up. We are already booking projects for Q1 of next year, which is evidence that the construction sector continues to perform well even through the ongoing Covid pandemic.
This week we have a range of projects both close to home and further afield. Local work in Staffordshire and Derbyshire includes window sampling (see attached picture of a site in South Normanton) and trial pits.
We also have engineers and technicians in Worcestershire, Merseyside, Manchester, and Cambridgeshire. Work at these locations includes general ground investigation works, hand dug trial pits to expose foundations, soakaway testing and gas/water level monitoring.
Richard Upton, Marketing & Sales Director at GRM, commented: “Nobody really knew what would happen in the construction sector back in March once the pandemic took hold. We continued to work hard through the first phase of lockdown, and there was a healthy increase in work over the summer months. This has continued into the autumn, and the second lockdown has not significantly impacted our business. In fact, we are busier than normal for this time of the year, and clients are already giving us work for January and beyond.”
