Our GRM teams are proud of their experience and expertise interpreting a wide range of ground conditions for our clients. However, on this occasion the only ‘clients’ that showed any interest were those of the hoofed variety!
The ground conditions at Cheltenham Racecourse were officially described as ‘good, good to soft in places’, which did little to enlighten Richard Upton, our Marketing and Sales Director, who was a guest of Catesby Estates for a day of racing and networking!
GRM have been supporting Catesby Estates on their various housing development projects for over ten years. We have supplied a wide range of services that span all of our specialist teams, including:
- Phase I Desk Studies
- Phase II Site Investigations
- Coal Mining Risk Assessments
- Infiltration Testing
- Mineral Resource Assessments
- Remedial Strategies
- Remediation Supervision and Validation
- Budget Foundation Advice
- Outline Bridge Designs
Richard was delighted to be invited to the event along with other industry professionals. While he was more than capable of discussing topical issues within our construction sector, his input into potential winners relied less on knowledge and experience and more on random selections based purely on the horse names! Don’t give up your day job Richard (although he claims to have picked the winner in the first race!).
We look forward to continuing our important partnership with Catesby Estates and getting plenty more projects across the winning line in the near future!
