Most of our clients instruct us early in their land development projects, and as such we get involved at the initial desk study and ground investigation stages. However, our end-to-end support for developers means we frequently stay involved and provide additional services during construction (which can include design services too).
It is great to be involved throughout the project life cycle, especially when the ‘final product’ starts to take shape and is ultimately completed! Having said that, we rarely get the opportunity to use and benefit from the facilities that we help build. But that opportunity arose last week when our Marketing and Sales Director, Richard Upton, took his son to visit Edge Hill University in Lancashire.
GRM have worked closely with the University for the past 13 years, providing a wide range of support services for their new campus buildings including the Creative Edge Media Centre, Sports Hall, Tech Hub, Students Union, and Halls of Residence.
Richard was understandably excited and proud to see the finished products: “From a personal point of view, it was great to see the work we have been doing at EHU in person and the fantastic facilities and learning environment that they are creating.”
But what about his son? Well, Max was equally impressed but more so with his intended course (Music Production) and the opportunity to move away from home and start the next phase in his own personal development!
