Landowners and developers need to be fully aware of environmental factors and this is initially done through a risk assessment.
A Phase II Site Investigation may indicate contamination at a site including risks to human health, controlled waters or the wider environment.
In such cases it may be necessary to investigate further using a Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessment (DQRA), which can be used to determine if unacceptable risks are present and also derive remedial targets for the mitigation of such risks.
GRM has a specialist team with extensive experience undertaking these DQRAs, plus supervising remedial strategies and subsequent validation to ensure that planning conditions are complied with and discharged.
