Land contamination is often identified during Phase II Site Investigations and will typically require remediation and subsequent validation. A Remediation Strategy (RS) or Method Statement (RMS) may be required.

The RS/RMS will detail how the identified risks will be mitigated and set out the process by which this will be achieved and validated to demonstrate that the remedial works have been successfully completed.

We have in-house expertise in this area and have designed and supervised numerous contaminated land remediation schemes. Examples of specialist techniques that we have used include the encapsulation of mobile contamination and bioremediation of hydrocarbon impacted soils and groundwater.
