The team at GRM raise monies throughout the year which are donated to various charities and to support specific local initiatives.
One recent example was Oak Tree Primary School and Nursery in Mansfield, who we know through a family connection of an employee. GRM had originally agreed to provide financial support for an environmental trip to France for some of the children. Sadly, this had to be cancelled and so an alternative trip to London was arranged which we also supported.
The children clearly had a wonderful day, and we were delighted to receive a ‘thank-you’ letter from the school and some postcards from the children describing their experience in the capital city.
Even though they are only in years’ 5 and 6, one of the children is already showing potential as an future engineer or foundation designer given their reference to the building of Tower Bridge and the seven years it took to complete the foundations!
