Last month we proudly announced that GRM had reached the milestone of completing 10,000 projects!
The company was founded by Dr Bill Peacock and Chris Jerram in 1991, and Bill remains at the helm as Managing Director. He was keen to celebrate with the whole GRM family, and so we organised a team afternoon at Branston Golf & Country Club which involved a BBQ, celebratory drinks, and a highly competitive adventure golf competition!
The weather was kind to us, possibly too kind with temperatures touching 30 degrees! Fortunately there was some shelter amidst the woodland theme miniature golf course, which was followed by drinks and the BBQ laid on by the staff at Branston.
There was some questionable scoring from the Directors Team, who ran the competition and unsurprisingly declared themselves the winners. They vary graciously stood down and Bill presented the trophy and prizes to the second place team (probably the actual winning team).
It was a great afternoon, and Bill suggested we do it all over again when the company completes the next 10,000 projects, although he doubts very much that he will be there to see it!
