Regifting raises money for Macmillan Cancer Support

We often receive gifts from our suppliers at Christmas, and wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of them for both the presents but more importantly their support delivering outstanding services to our clients. So ‘Thank You’ (and in the interests of parity please note we also send gifts out to our clients too!!).

In a rare occurrence this year we received a very large and impressive hamper from one of our partners, Portway Remediation (thank you Ian Chambers and Jon Berry). Despite ownership claims from several of the directors, we decided to use it as bait and ran an internal Christmas raffle with all proceeds going to charity. We raised £205, which the directors doubled to £410. GRM Site Inspector Bryan was the lucky winner of the hamper and chose Macmillan Cancer Support for the charity donation. Congratulations Bryan, we suggest taking it home as soon as possible to avoid potential internal battles!
