World Cup… in Format Only!

GRM are delighted to have been invited to compete in the Barratt Homes North Midlands five-a-side football tournament, which takes place in Nottingham this week.

The tournament is being played in a World Cup format, and despite our best intent that is probably where the comparison will end! It is also forecast to be around 3 degrees, rather than the 33 degrees experienced by the professionals in Qatar last month!

The GRM team features a range of potential ‘stars’ including Jack and George, featured here wearing our GRM branded kit. We are expecting big things, although the prize for the winning team is tickets to watch Nottingham Forrest, which hasn’t gone down too well with some of the players who are loyal supporters of other local Midland clubs including Derby, Leicester, Burton… Manchester Utd and Arsenal!!
